James North Baptist Church, in collaboration with Indwell affordable housing, recently completed construction of a new building at the corner of James and Picton. The development went ahead unopposed because it was designed in accordance with existing planning guidelines such as the Mobility Hub Policy and Corridors Policy concerning height limit, required setbacks, and angular plane. The development therefore minimized adverse impacts on neighbouring properties and has been a welcome addition to the neighbourhood.
